Nara appears in the Japanese pop art movement of 1990s. His aggressive and naive works, where he depicts children and animals carrying weapons, are an object of worship today1.
In them, we observe influences ofart punk, of graffiti, of manga, of the'anime and American cartoons and a clear symbolism of coldness and violence to amalgamate human tenderness and malice in products that several authors frame well in the Japan post-war.
